Programme Highlights
- Friday Evening: Short contributions by the three priests on Finding purpose in life.
- Saturday: Short contributions on The three tasks of the priest, alongside Eurythmy, dialogue walks, and shared conversation.
A Shared Contribution: On Saturday morning, you are invited to bring a personal reflection on the question: When did I feel – or when did I miss feeling – aligned with my life’s purpose? - Sunday Morning: Guided contemplative preparation for the Act of Consecration of Man, which we will then celebrate together with the Forest Row congregation. Following coffee with the congregation, Patrick will give a talk entitled: The rescue of the human soul – meaning, purpose and the Risen Christ.
Contributing to the Services
Please let us know if you are able to serve for the Act of Consecration of Man on Saturday morning, or for the Close of Day services on Friday and Saturday evening.
Participation & Practicalities
The weekend will start with supper on Friday, 18 September and end at 3pm on Sunday, 20 September. Lunches, suppers and refreshments are provided.
Contribution & Fees
We offer a sliding scale of fees for this event:
- Supported: £50
- Standard: £65
- Supporting: £80
If financial constraints are a barrier to your attendance, bursaries are available by application.
As these funds are limited, we kindly ask that you make your own financial arrangements as far as possible.

We will do our best to find free accommodation with members of the congregation. However, if you have your own local contacts – or if you are in a position to book your own accommodation – we would be most grateful.
