Called to Meaning – discovering the Heart of Priesthood in a renewed Christian Life

Days of deepening and discernment with Revd Patrick Kennedy (North American Seminary), Revd Tom Ravetz and Revd Nataliia Shatna (Forest Row)

18-20 September, 2026 in Forest Row, starting with supper at 6pm on 18 September and finishing by 3pm on 20 September.

The Act of Consecration of Man opens a wellspring of priestly life for every human being.

When we gather at the altar, we can awaken to the quiet call to service that lives in every human heart.

These days of reflection and conversation invite us to explore how meaning and purpose arise when daily life is lived as priestly service.

Through talks, meditation, and shared dialogue, we will seek the path by which the world itself can become liturgy — and each deed an act of priestly service.

We will also turn to the question of sacramental priesthood in The Christian Community and hear about pathways into priests’ training.

Participation

There will be a sliding scale of fees for this event. You may apply for a bursary if you would like to attend but money is a barrier.

We will try to find accommodation with members of the congregation, but we would be grateful if you have any contacts of your own in the area, or if you are able to pay, that you find your own accommodation.

More details about the weekend will be posted on this page by 12 June.
